DAY EIGHTY-THREE

So I slept in until 12 today. Yup, I was so tired I slept through the entire night and didn't get up to pee even once. WOAH. So after finally dragging my weary self out of bed I showered, got dressed, and unpacked a bit all while listening to the Rich Roll podcast! Then at around 2, I headed out to meet my LOVELY WONDERFUL friend Lily! So we met up in the city, and she took me to see Yarraville which was the cutest little quaint suburb. But our main reason for going there was so we could hit up this health shop to buy vegan ice cream for our dessert tonight. We ended up settling on the Cocoluscious cookies and cream ice cream and some choc chip cookies. Then when we got back, Lily made me some toast with vegan nutella which I snacked on while she prepped her iconic dinner.

Lily is the baked sweet potato queen and has the most delicious and simple dinners every night, and I'd always seen them on snap chat and instagram, but tonight I finally got to try it! Like I said it was extremely simple but so damn tasty. We had some steamed broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower, peas, corn, mushroom and asparagus which I ate with her homemade guac and sweet chilli sauce. Then we feasted on baked Japanese sweet potatoes, parsnips, beets, and carrots which I drowned in tahini (obviously) and cinnamon.

I had 2 rounds of dinner and felt so satisfied afterwards. Then we continued sitting outside in the sun just catching up and chatting about little things and big things. Man Lily is just one of those people that I feel so connected to, I swear she's like my soul sister and I love her more than she will ever know. Then her boyfriend Jordan picked us up and drove us to the beach where we feasted on cookies and ice cream.

He is such a sweet hilarious guy, and I'm so glad I finally got to meet him. I also just loved seeing them together, watching them joke around, poke fun at each other, and being around such a beautiful example of a loving healthy relationship. Then Jordan drove me home where I was reunited with Griff and Biggi after being seperated for one night! ahahah, and since they were eating weetbix with chocolate soy milk and nutrigrains, I ended up having two bowls as well because, like I always say, cereal is life.
