Brisbane was

Brisbane was such an unexpected surprise.

It was getting lost in the car with Katie on countless road trips, and blaming it on google maps :P

It was just being overwhelmed by the kindness katie and sophie both showed me by offering up their homes to me without any expectations of anything in return.

It was more downtime to myself to recharge and reinspire me.

It was reigniting my passion for writing and showing me the beauty of words.

It was rock climbing and slack lining.

It was my favourite city thus far in Australia, not because there are heaps of hikes, nice scenery, top notch vegan restaurants, interesting attractions, or anything else in that spectrum, but rather because I am just obsessed and utterly in love with all the genuine souls I've connected with here, and I just love the person I am becoming around them.

It was staying with Sophie, Steph and Kal. Three of the most gorgeous souls in existence. It was meeting and finding three life long friends.

It was finally letting go of something I had wanted to work, but just wasn't destined to be. And although it felt like I was letting go of a childhood friend, it also opened up new opportunities that excite me.

It was meeting someone who challenged my thoughts and belief patterns in ways no one has ever done before. It was feeling intimidated by their wealth of knowledge and intelligence, but also unbelievably excited that people like that exist, and that others have minds that tick like mine and that I'm not the only crazy person who stays awake at night dreaming about how this universe and our existence came to be.

It was the best homemade food by my friends Sophie and Steph. Tons of rice bowls with satay sauce, iced tea, stroganoff, banana wraps, waffles and more.

IT WAS TAHINI TO THE MAX. TAHINI IN EVERYTHING. TAHINI IN RICE, IN WRAPS, IN CHOCOLATE SAUCE, WITH WAFFLES, WITH COOKIES, WITH ICE CREAM WITH LITERALLY EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING.

It was rocky road, pizza, doughnuts, cocowhip and the best 7 course vegan meals I've ever had.

It was the happiest, most inspired, most content I've been in ages.

It was just unexplainable, unintelligible, yet undeniable bliss.
